Chopard, the international luxury jewellery and watch company, has announced a new ‘ground-breaking’ partnership with global leaders in sustainable and responsible mining, Gemfields.

The new collaboration, which officially launches at the Cannes Film Festival 2016, looks to set a new global standard for coloured gemstones.

The Journey to luxury was launched by Chopard in a partnership with Eco-Age, a consultancy company that supports businesses in creating bespoke sustainability practices, at the Cannes Film Festival 2013.

As the first luxury jewellery company to support mining companies in attaining the Fairmined certification, this partnership with Gemfields represents a new milestone in their sustainably and responsibly sourced diamonds.
