Group Eleven Resources begins drilling program at high grade zinc deposit in Ireland
A zinc explorer has commenced drilling at its flagship drilling project in Ireland, home to some of the world’s largest zinc deposits.
Group Eleven Resources, through a joint venture partnership with Connemara Mining, has announced that drilling has commenced at the company’s zinc project in Ireland while providing an asset update of two more projects.
The company’s vision is to “discover Irelands next big zinc mine through out of the box thinking, latest concepts and cutting-edge technology.”
Drilling has commenced at the company’s Ballinalack project, situated closely to the wiorld class Navan zinc mine. The best-known mineralization at Ballinalack comprises an historic estimate (7.7 million tonnes.)
“We are excited to be undertaking our first drill program as a public company, and I’m particularly pleased our recent 3D computer modelling has allowed us to start testing the Pale Beds at Ballinalack well ahead of our original timeframe” started Bart Jaworski, CEO. “Fieldwork on our other projects is just starting to kick into high-gear, but it is gratifying to see that preliminary work at the Castlemaine prospect is yielding positive results, adding further granularity to our ongoing regional ‘Big Think’ efforts.”
