Australia-based Formitize has launched Mining Safety App, a new tool aimed at enhancing the productivity, workflow, and safety of mining businesses around the world.

Mining Safety enables companies to upload and send paper forms to the app which are then customized into a paperless solution to suit the company’s needs. Users can track mobile forms using the safe and secure cloud-based management portal as well as syncing the app with other paperless software solutions such as MYOB.

The app features real-time reporting that can be customized to oversee performance, progress, outcome, and location of field employees. Mining Safety also provides detailed reports that include photos, voice recording, and GPS locators to provide a more detailed reading of situations.

“Mining Safety App enables users to access mobile forms using any Apple, Android, and Microsoft Windows smartphones and tablets,” says Formitize CEO Matt Burge. “Formitize solutions are driving business automation and operational efficiencies across more than eighty industries worldwide,”

The app’s automation, drop-downs, multiple choice options, and other tools enable mining companies to finish forms faster and more accurately. It also provides alerts to keep businesses informed of possible safety issues regarding their operations.

The Mining Safety App by Formitize not only allows companies to decrease their reliance on paper, but increase the effectiveness and safety of its operations.
