A global dealer in digital solutions that create autonomous connected ecosystems to the mining industry is heading to china.

Hexagon’s mining division has announced this week that it has plans to continue to develop its Channel Partner Program by extending its reach to China.

This will be the company’s first foray into the country as it showcases its integrated life-of-mine solutions at the company’s regional users’ conference, HxGN LOCAL Beijing.

The Channel Partner Program, which was launched earlier this month, is centred around  attracting more international companies to collaborate with Hexagon.

Hexagon’s industry-specific solutions leverage domain expertise in sensor technologies, software, and data orchestration to create Smart Digital Realities™ that improve productivity and quality across manufacturing, infrastructure, safety and mobility applications.

HxGN Local is a three-day event that is committed to creating efficient and feasible smart solutions in the fields of “smart manufacturing” and “smart city”.

Each year, the conference invites a number of internationally leading guests to give keynote speeches, and hopes to connect international frontier ideas and technologies through this platform and explore more infinite possibilities in the future.

Mining will feature heavily in the Sept. 10-12 event, with the entire product portfolio displayed via presentations and demonstrations. Leading the Mining division contingent at the show will be President, Josh Weiss.

“We’re always excited about the opportunity to reach new mines, especially in a country as vast and as diverse as China,“ said Weiss, who will be among the presenters at the show. “China is number-one in the mining world when it comes to production and consumption, plus 12 of the world’s top-40 mining companies are based in China.

“We believe strongly that our solutions can help every mine to be safer and more productive, regardless of size and location. With Hexagon‘s strong presence in China and a solid reputation, it makes sense to be a part of this established annual event.“

Weiss will present “Solutions and Technical Trends“ while Senior Development Manager, Zhanyou Huang will present “Solutions and Application“.
