Ms. Rinko Kinoshita works as the Deputy Representative in UNICEF’s Country Office in Burkina Faso since June 2016. Prior to moving to Burkina Faso, she served as the Deputy Representative for UNICEF’s Office in Nicaragua for four years.

Prior to UNICEF, she worked with a NGO Save the Children (“Saving Newborn Lives Initiative”) where she conducted a qualitative research with traditional birth attendants in rural Malawi. Between 2003 and 2006, she served as the In-country project director for the DRC where she set up NIH-funded operational research projects in Maternal and Newborn Health in Kinshasa and Equateur provinces.
