Introduced in 2008 by Terex, the MT 6300AC was rebranded as Bucyrus MT6300AC and became a part of Caterpillar's Unit Rig line after Caterpillar's acquisition of Bucyrus in 2011.  The body of the truck is 7.92m in height and 14.63m in length, with a gross operating weight of about 660t. The vehicle boasts a four-stroke diesel engine with 20-cylinders and has a rated power output engine of 3,750 HP.
