The mining industry enlists some of the largest equipment ever built by man. The gargantuan machinery, which is otherwise known as earthmoving equipment, has been designed primarily to move copious amounts of earth and minerals for large mining projects. Sometimes, however, things go awry.

The use of heavy-duty equipment in mining projects requires stringent safety guidelines and practices. Often times, accidents and mishaps occur because employees are simply not abiding safety regulations and protocol.
