A global designer and manufacturer of highly-engineered products and services for the mineral, oil and gas and power industries, has unveiled revolutionary IIoT technology set to redefine the mining space.

Weir has announced in a statement this week the global launch of its advanced IIoT technology, Synertrex.

The cutting-edge platform harnesses the latest digital technology, enabling mine operates to transform their productivity, foresee risk and enhance overall performance. It is powered by cloud computing and places smart sensors on a number of Weird products which collects critical operating data for advanced analysis.

Users will have detailed real-time insight into how their equipment is performing, and machines will be able to learn over time. Information is displayed on a simple, easy to understand dashboard which can be accessed via any device or integrated into existing operational systems.

“Synertrex makes the complex simple, better insight and control of equipment enables customers to make accurate, condition-based decisions. This platform will redefine field service standards and lead to greater performance, reliability and ultimately return on investment,” Fred Bradner, Minerals Division Vice President of Global Strategy, Sales and Marketing said.
