At age 52, Andrew Forrest is the youngest billionaire on this list. The onetime stockbroker started his first mining company in 1994, becoming one of the biggest mining names in Western Australia. In 2003, Forrest took control of Allied Mining and Processing and renamed it Fortescue Metals Group, turning it in to one of the largest iron ore mining companies in Australia.
