Pacific Rim Cobalt receives environmental permit for Indonesian TNM project
A leading cobalt developer, with a key focus on Indonesian projects, has received an environmental permit for its flagship project.
Pacific Rim Cobalt has announced that its TNM Project has received the all important environmental approval, as it continues its advanced 2018 workplan.
The company is currently developing its TNM project, which has been described as potentially the largest source of cobalt outside of Africa.
The news comes after the company revealed its 2018 work program, which confirmed that work on site has begun at the project.

The company will now progress with extensive drilling, drone operated topographic and photographic surveys as an initial step.
This will provide control for exploration planned activities, including geological mapping, sampling, test pitting and diamond drilling, to confirm historically reported cobalt-nickel-bearing laterite zones
Pacific Rim’s TNM cobalt project is strategically located on the northern coast of Papua Province, Indonesia which provides direct shipping access to China, the world’s largest consumer of cobalt.
